I have done this role for a few years now, and have a knack for fixing things. I would like to be able to teach others what I know about maintenance.

What previous experience do you have related to this role?

  • 10+ years of maintenance & repair, + previously did this position.

What are some of your major contributions to the club?

Getting the entire basement outfitted and prepared for the gym. Installing the gym, putting together and maintaining the ergs. Major junk removal, 16+ years of paddling, volunteering, and 10+ years of coaching.

How long have you been a member?

Why do you think you will be good in this role? Please list specific goals or objectives you want to accomplish.

I believe with my combined experience working on equipment maintenance in the event industry, my strong problem solving skills and my experience as club coordinator last year provide me with the skills necessary to find success in this role.

What previous experience do you have related to this role?

-Worked as club coordinator last EDBRC season
-2 years as operations manager at Evolution Audio Visual, duties include on going maintenance, show design and implemenation, along with all warehouse logistics.
-3 years as a freelance painter and carpenter for production events.
-2 years of theatrical design, including autocad, vivian and sketchup.
-Designer and project manager for complete overhaul, demolition and rebuilding of Block 1912 Cafe on Whyte Ave.

What are some of your major contributions to the club?

Steady volunteering for past three years in all events, clean up, boat moves etc.
-Helping set up and tear down equipment
-Building and maintaining docks.
-cleaning and maintenance
